Are Porsches beautiful?
Discussion
Less is more when it comes to beauty. My wife is beautiful, she wears very little make up and looks all the better for it. As for Porsche's I would say few if any of them could be considered beautiful. Purposeful, handsome, yes, but not beautiful.
Of the modern cars I would say that the plain 981 Boxster has some of the best features, although I'm not a fan of the headlights.
It pains me to say it somewhat but for beauty, you've got to look at the Italian marques and Aston Martin.

Very sinister if you were driving one - the driver's feet were the first thig that met the armco if he had the misfortune to ever meet it.Still my favoutite Porsche of all time in all of it's guises - although i think that the can am is not as pretty as the enclosed cars
Any car where there are nicely laid out mechanicals and a body that is draped over those mechanicals and a minimum of overt styling on top of that usually ends up being quite beautiful. I think its why early 911s are so appealing but the recent generations less so. I also think its part of the reason why the Cayenne and Panamera could never be called beautiful in my opinion.
