The results of this thread are Brands Hatch on the 18th of July. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

This is the event page from MSV http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/calendar/2016/july...

So have phoned up and arranged another group buy. If you wish to attend then call and book with MSV. 0843 453 3000. Quote TVR Group. If 5 or more book then we get 10% discount and a free garage. I have reserved 8 spaces.

So call up and book. Last week at Snetts was beaut.

Is this restricted to just TVRs? Or could I book in the group but bring something else?

Richard, it is an open event. You're more than welcome just mention the S1 when booking. I have no issue with you turning up in a Saxo.

I am quite pleased with my federals at the moment.

They took a little while to scrub in and can be noisy regarding screeching around bends but their roadholding seemed excellent at Hethal a few weeks back.

They were about half price of my new usual Toyo 888s!

RSR or FZ-201?

I just like the Kumho, very stiff side wall that seems to suit the Cerbera very well, huge feel on the limit and very progressive.

Looks like I got the last pair in country, had to get 245 instead of 235 and hard instead on medium compound but as that is the fronts and my car seems to work these harder than the rears it should balance up quite nicely with the medium on the back.

A couple of mates may well come along as well, one M3 and a Lotus Exige running about 400bhp which makes it quite lively.

Sorry to say I cannot be there, but hope you all have a great day.

Too add to the side discussion on tyres.
I love 595 RSRs on the Chimaera.
Presently on A048s, and love them. Expensive tyres, I was lucky enough to get a barely run in set for £300.
But I would happily have 595s again.

Honda K20 will take over 600 so well within tolerance, not the K series or Toyota engine.
