Wasn't spotted by me as i would of stopped, but by a work friend. Apparently saw a red Monaro on the hard shoulder of the M27 with steam coming from under the bonnet?

Cheers Fella,

Yeah twas me on the way to Thruxton for the VXR Power event.

Had a fab time there tho.

Turns out to be twin water hoses from the bulkhead to the heater control valve chaffing on the head.

Should be sorted by Monday nite parts from the fish on the way...

I rerouted my hoses behind the clutch pipe, I think that's where they should have gone all along.

Check your fuel line isn't rubbing through on the engine cover whilst your there.

if your changing the heater hose and you get a genuine replacement set from the fish remove the bulkhead ends first then unclip the control valve from the chassis leg (just pulls out of c shape spring clip ) then you can pull the whole thing up out of the engine bay to remove and replace the other connections then replace the valve back on the chassis clip then thread the pipes up behind the steel clutch pipe checking you're happy that they are not fouling any moving parts
