OK not SW London but I used to use GT One in Chertsey when I lived in Kingston. They were consistently good with me

I haven't found a good one in SW London yet - currently use Brookspeed in Southampton and 911 SBD in North London

In the past I have used Charles Ivey in Fulham, OPC Brooklands in Weybridge (not an Indy but used to be), Chelsea Carrera in Fulham and Nine Excellence. They were all good for the work I had done and would happily recommend any of them.

I've been disappointed with Charles Ivey, even though they're just up the road from our place in Putney. They seem very keen to get my car back out of their expensive garage instead of taking the time to get to the root of a problem.

My car is currently at GT-One, who seem more professional - I'll update when I get the car back next week.

Dependent on how far West your willing to travel, try Porsche Torque in Uxbridge. - www.porsche-torque.com

Sid has a good reputation and reasonable labour rates, recently completed a fix on my 964 which I was happy with.

He also apparently does all of the spanner work for 911 Virgin.

GT One. They've had all my Porsches over the years. Not a bargain, but good work and sensible advice.

I live in SW4 and have used 911box out in Keston, BR2 (from a PH recommend). Great value and great service.. I was put off the OPC after they wanted to charge me an additional £50 for leaf removal in the air intakes after paying £600 odd for a service - disgrace.

Just got the car back from GT One, and all seems well. I'm impressed

Avoid Charles Ivey IMHO, expensive and didn't diagnose properly

I use Bob at RGA for routine stuff, honest and good guy.

Use 9E for engine stuff, they are too far out for routine servicing
