I think that you will struggle to find a GT car that involes, challenges and rewards to the level that you already have with the GT3. perhaps you would be better advised to keep it and put a little into a lightweight chassis like an Elise or Caterham? I have a little Elise S1 Sport 190 with a super charger fitted. It is quite a different driving experience to a 911 but is delicate, involving makes a nice change on occasion.

You can pick a decent S1 up for less than £10K. just a thought

I have to say, on a measure of both bang for bucks and also sheer agility, an Elise is a superb car. I've been a passenger, at Donington, in a very high powered, semi-slick show S1 and it was incredibly rapid, chuckable and nimble.

I switched from my 996 GT3 to a manual, rear wheel drive Gallardo.

In many respects it is like a more powerful GT3 dressed in a sharp Italian suit: it provides much of the same raw driving experience and feel. I'd recommend you give it a try. smile

Would love one of these - one of the better looking and sounding cars and shoulld be a great driving experience with the manual. So many cars i want to own . ... i agree with the above poster, who owns the most toys at the end wins at life ...... pensions and investment portfolios are boring
