When was AdBlue introduced on the Cayenne V8 diesel?

Our 2012 Q5 has AdBlue, at a time when it seemed a bit random whether or not they got built with it included? Our 2010 Q5 didn't have it.

My V8S is July 2015 and doesn't have the AdBlue. It is an amazing machine and when it starts up thats all you need to hear everyday...

It was builds after September 2015 that had the change with the addition of the Adblue in the V8's.

Is there any visual way of checking if the car is an Adblue car?.....

.....from an online ad or, do you have to see it in the flesh?

I'm guessing you could get the face lift 2015 car without ad blue!?

yes adblue came on the 16 cars I think, I have the facelift, late 2014 production ( 2015 model) - - its epic and the engine rumbles like a big yank v8.

Reopening this thread, with 6/7 years of AdBlue knowledge. I am currently buying a June 2016 4.2 V8, with AddBlue. Going back through its MOT history, it failed on one occasion due to AddBlue not working. That required a repair.

I understand that the AddBlue can be disabled within the ECU. My question is, are there any disadvantages to this?
