What are the likely results of using semi slicks on my 987.2 for track use?

I know there were issues on gen 1 cars with the oil feed and that the gen 2's are 'improved'. Is the drivetrain and suspension up to the job or am I wasting time?

Plenty of people run track days on hot hatches, I'd like to think I could do the same on a Porsche.

Look into getting a deep sump oil kit. And put in some 10w-60 of Mobil 1's finest.

RPM Technik are worth talking to.

Be ok, you will run out of camber befor you run out of oil.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll just stick with road tyres.

I'm going a hunter wheel alignment soon, is it worth asking the operator to dial in as much camber as possible? Is it just on the fronts that the sidewalls wear?

Depends how hard you drive, I often see cars with loads of unused camber.
