997 Turbo or Carrera 2S or Carrera 4S? PDK of manual?

Hi Folks,
I would be most interested to hear your views on the arguments for and against the 997 Turbo vs Gen 2 Carrera 2S vs Gen 2 Carrera 4S?
Also PDK vs manual?
I have owned and enjoyed in the past 996 C4S and 997 C2S, both in manual.
I am now ready to partake in new purchase, which will be 997 Turbo or Gen 2 Carrera 2S or Gen 2 Carrera 4S. Manual or PDK. I guess the GTS would just about be in the price band too.
I like the idea of the power of the 997 Turbo, but some have said it the car very quiet until such times as you are going warp speed and the turbos kick in? I loved the sound of my old 996 C4S with Hayward & Scott back box.
The car will be used for road use and not track use. 3rd car in the family, 3,000 miles per annum. Not worried about fuel consumption. I would place the driving experience way ahead of shaving nominal amounts off pointless Nurburgring lap times!
The car will be second hand, budget £40k to £70k.

)997 GTS2 Manual or a 997 Turbo PDK.
Personally I think the PDK suits the way a Turbo delivers its grunt and the manual box works sublimely with the GTS because it's naturally aspirated and also because with the X50 kit it does reward you that little bit more higher up the rev range than a regular Carrera S.

What sort of journeys will you be doing? Road types? Times of day? Commuting in heavy traffic, weekend use, long trips?
Also how important is soundtrack to you? The fact that you mentioned it & put a H&S backbox on your old car indicates that it is a factor. Not sure if a turbo can be turned up a bit with a loud exhaust. One thing for sure, don't take at face value people who knock the turbo as dull. Some have owned one and said that but I suspect a lot of others who say this are jaded as they can't afford one and love to slate it. There are plenty of people who value the power of the turbo over the allegedly more pure experience of the naturally aspirated engine
I wouldn't give too much weight to others' preferences if you're spending £70k, everyone's tastes are different, you should try a few out and don't accept a 15 min test drive round the block which won't give you much to base an opinion on
