Just for fun. Mine would be the Targa body on an R. 4 seats. 997.2 RS Grey Black bodycolour with silver/black Fuchs wheels, PCCB's, red decal stripes (similar to R). 991.2 lights. Lots of leather, Alcantara and carbon on the inside. That'd be all the car I ever need love

Hmmm 996.2 C4S body with magnesium roof and carbon bonnet, wings etc like a 991 R coupled to 997 GT3 RS4.0 engine, transmission and suspension. Inside largely black leather and alcantara but with dark red Recaro SPGs. No rear seats.

ETA: After some further thought on the details:
- Litronic headlights as the standard headlights suck
- Cruise control
- Modern single DIN head unit
- Not sure on wheels though. Perhaps some BBS split rims?
- Keep the aircon etc
- No some sunroof
- PSE
- PCCB if they're any good
- Rear cage and harnesses for track days

PDK?
I specifically left that out because I really can't decide. I would possibly go PDK-S in a 4-seater targa, but then I would miss a proper sorted manual shift on the odd occasion. Sod it, PDK. Done. Build me a 500hp RS-engined automatic Targa please Mr GT dept.

They have built them 997SC too expensive , 991R but you can't buy one !
Aside from those I would have like to have seen a manual 997.2 with buckets on nice passive sports suspension a bit of carbon ie funk some weight loss and a tuned peaky 3.6 to say 375hp ! They could have called it a Club sport!

A 993 RS with modern nav and cruise.

In maritime.

That would do.

I'd take the flat-six and steering geometry of a 997, and then move the engine to midships position to replace the silly back seats. Then I'd name it after a small crocodile.

Pretty much the same theory...

Targa shell but with manual roof . Take all the roof mech out and replace with simple a lift out Carbon panel , 2 wheel drive , 4.0 RS , Manual . Approx 80bhp more than targa GTS and 300kg lighter .

997 Sport Classic with 991R engine and running gear. That'll do me nicely.

flat 4 DOHC air-cooled 2.0L (or new cayman engine) 950kg /250bHP @ 8500. 47% front 53% rear
double wish bone front (959 suspension) multi link rear (since 993)

Basically a new version of 912, lightweight, balance and good power-weight ratio. Which is almost the new Cayman, just need to turn the power-train the other way around and drop some weight.

A Singer would be very high on my list. As in Porsche would have to build a Singer replica. How ironic would that be

A 996 C4S with a Mezger (any would do) & converted to RWD with a bit more weight loss would keep me happy I suspect.

Or a 997GTS as above, maybe with a ducktail.

Nope. Don't want a hardcore stripped out road racer with rock hard ride & no rear seats. Also prefer the widebody of the C4S over the NB GT3.

Tough call.

993 wide body
991 GT3 front end
997/991 4.0
991r gearbox
991r wheels
991 GT3 interior

Reading that back, I'm picturing a right mess of a car tbh but it's all the bits I like from various models.
