Just a tcensoredt. Nothing to do with your Porsche.
Exactly lots of numpties on the road, around here most people seem to not like stopping at roundabouts. I have had some close shaves even though it's my right of way.
I genuinely have never experienced it - he literally drove right at me over the top of the white painted roundabout to "prove a point".

Whilst it might not have been Porsche specific, i dont think he'd have done it if i'd been in a fiesta.

While I've not experienced any hate on the roads, I get some angry stares when I pull into a parent and child space. The look on their face when my daughter climbs out the back is priceless smile.

Having owned my 996 turbo for three years now, I have been amazed at the amount of positive attention it gets, and it's always nice having a chat with a fellow petrol head when the chance arises!

The only real "bad" interaction I can recall is when a fully (over)loaded scrap metal collecting 3.14key tipper transit deliberately pulled right out on me on a 40mph A road... the knobs waited until I was close enough to make me have to brake hard, then pulled right out in front of me! The fkers were laughing & calling me a wker as they did it, no provocation at all, they obviously just felt like being tossers & having a bit of "fun" baiting people.. I waited until it went into a nice NSL section of road & gave them full noise for the overtake hehe , the pure hatred on their faces & multiple coffee beans out of the windows plus flashing headlights actually made me laugh, how bitter do you have to be to deliberately try to cause a crash, then get wound up to the point of seething rage when you get overtaken?

I never like to think I'm better than anyone, but for that occasion I allowed myself a moment of smugness that I was driving a tuned 911 turbo, payed for by me flying all over the world doing a job I love, rather than driving a ratty old transit full of probably stolen scrap metal, wearing a filthy, stinking old tracksuit & vest on my way home to an old caravan to shag my sister & st in a bush...

I've had the same death stares when I pull into a supermarket disabled space. It's fun to watch their faces as I lever myself out of the Cayman on my walking stick!

I've had two porsches, a 964 Cab which got lots of positive attention, and a 997t which doesn't offend. Driving my old mans Macan on the weekend I got given the tosser sign by a drunk hobo at a traffic light smile

My first bit of 'hate' i thought was quite amusing

All down to which one you drive. I get it quite often in the Cayenne regardless of how courteously I drive frown

Punting a Porsche regardless - like it! I like to think I'd do the same if it came to it.

It's not as bad as all that! I've got knee and ankle problems that flare up from time to time, but it's not bad enough to get a blue badge. I sometimes park in private sector disabled bays when my knee is bad enough to need a stick, but not so bad as to make me unable to use the clutch...

I've had my 996 C4S Cab for 4 and half years and in that time have had nothing but good reactions with just two exceptions - a man in a camper van closing the gap on me on overtaking and a bloke in a Picasso who seemed to think I should reverse back down the entire row of parked cars I had passed before he appeared wanting to go the other way.
