Cluster F***

Dear all,

I am a 996tt (manual) owner in need of a replacement instrument cluster. Porsche UK want £1800 + tax which is out of reach for the moment.

I have located an alternative on ebay which I can have reprogrammed I guess, but some part number issues seem to come up;

This is the current one on car

I can get
9966412170570c

Porsche claims it should be
9966412170470c

Just confused now! Help from much smarter people than me would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks to anyone who takes the time to read.

Tried the bespoke breakers? or the ECU and instrument type repair companies?

Looking in the manual ive got, its 04 for rally black thats for option code M480 which is manual and not an S which i assume yours isnt.

Thanks both, been checking the breakers, no joy yet

Will check that option code though, thanks - all dials are black on mine but it's a MY2001, so perhaps the original unit is replaced by the 04

Have a chat with theladismantler (Google it). They are in the USA but they know their stuff. I've ordered a replacement leather trim for my 991 from them
