Oulton rs day,march 10th.

Yep -sold out!
Booking details were word of mouth and direct e-mail for all the regulars who enjoy meeting up for the first track day of the season, despite the weather.
Marshall's complained once how we were all going to the final flag, so don't understand what this going home early thing is....
It's on the full circuit, BTW, not Island as on original booking application.

Don't worry, I've only been to 10 or so and still aren't on "the list". Luckily the Manchester grapevine is fully functional and I managed to get spaces and garages for our little trio. Not sure which car to bring though.obviously not a 'regular'

I'll be there and am currently available for instruction - ideally morning only (I prefer not to be committed to being on track the whole day, so that I can catch up with people around the paddock and admire the cars).
I was introduced at a Lotus On Track day recently as an "Oulton Specialist" . I got good feedback from all the drivers (of all the difficult-to-get-into plastic cars ) I was with in very tricky conditions.

I wish this was in May, have we ever had a sunny day here yet ?
I have stopped going and most people vanish by 1 pm due to how bloody cold it is.
As most cars are on track tyres it's a shame this event is in March, we have even had snow before.
I've driven at Spa in Snow - the Supersports are pretty good !I have stopped going and most people vanish by 1 pm due to how bloody cold it is.

I'll be there. not sure what in. Stupidly didnt book a garage. Would anyone who has a garage booked on the day like to share the cost?
If you just need space to bung stuff in Steve, you're welcome to bung it in ours (we have a couple booked). No charge, chatting about how to drive Oulton will be more than enough. Just look for a bunch of Cayman Rs, GT4s and a couple of 964s. And the tea/coffee is free! boxsey said:
