very nice

how are the GTO and GT2RS doing? I still miss my red GT2 .... was bought by somebody who was going to use my engine to build another one that still had a useable chassis

I like a good luxo-barge. That looks the business.

In other news, this happened this morning. Beastly. evil

You need to be playing Iron Maiden for that entire mile smile

My GT2 is on 39965

It's going to hit 40 in the same year as me frown

Or, it could hit 50 in the same year as you're 40. Your choice. wink

Mine's being fettled for a return DN17 trip.

After selling my daily Aston V8 Vantage at Christmas, last month I bought a 2001 Mini Cooper to be my new commuter. It's an auto which is great in traffic - I was initially reluctant to get an auto (never had one before) but the missus is learning to drive in an auto so it made sense. When she passes her test the car is hers.

Meanwhile I'm just about to buy my first Porsche - a 996 C4. This will initially be used 2/3 days a week but that could change when the missus passes her test!

I echo the comments on the old 8L Audi S3 - had one for over 2 years as my daily and it was a great car and very quick A to B on the back roads (with a few mods...).

Also commuted in a modified B5 RS4 for over 2 years and that was frustrating overkill. 440bhp is useless when you're inevitably stuck behind a Punto, and 19mpg was a very good day (14.5mpg ave.)! Great car on an open road though.

I bought this yesterday to go with my GTS.

Two hours today of driving just for the hell of it on B roads and it is brilliant, I would have been in the first hedge driving the Porsche today given temperatures and traction.

Already filled it up twice though since yesterday.
