here's the thread on the car - looks to be one of the most sorted 996 turbos out there IMO - no expense spared

Which nicely squares the circle with regard to why such an epic beast had been created and then put up for sale in such short order. It really does look like a good deal.http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=95397&pos...

I struggle to find how 9E get away with charging the prices they do.
Especialy when compared to the likes of Esmotor who produce and write all there own maps and carry out in house R&D.
Those prices include all the hardware too. Especialy when compared to the likes of Esmotor who produce and write all there own maps and carry out in house R&D.
So 9e 28 may look expensive at £16,995 but you get 997 GT2 RS hybrid turbos. They're over Euros 10,000 on their own nowadays! These were previously much cheaper but £ crashed vs Euro

Guesstimate of parts needed:
GT2 RS turbos £8500 (previously £6000)
Sports exhaust £3000 (dependent on spec)
GT2 RS cooler £1500
IPD Plenum
GT3 Throttle b
Y pipe £2000
Proto Tune £1500
Clutch 890nm £1500
They're making a loss on the 9e 28 package - think those prices I've quoted may be out of date!
Hi guys - this is my 996. Was lucky enough to buy it from Neil (former keeper) I sold him his Lotus in December 2016.
This car is part of my private collection most of which I advertise for sale under the name of "The Classicwise Collection".
I'm a big 911 enthusiast (mostly aircooled) however this 9e was just so special - I just had to have it. It is every bit as nice as it looks. If it doesn't sell then it'll be used this summer!
Cheers!
Sam

Is the owner on here?
I'll be getting in contact about this one i think. I was looking for a replacement for the Audi and had been thinking GT2 but this fits the bill nicely!

Hopefully maybe see you at VMAX, Elvington or Terminal Velocity your new beast?!
