Spoke to them & they were adamant it was the full six, not just the one. Also had preventative IMS upgrade.Anything else to specifically make a note of?
Typically this will be the first one I've gone to see... I ended up buying the first M3 I saw as well, although that ended up fine
If the cars been Hartech'd, see if the selling dealer has a copy of the invoice for the rebuild as that's the easiest proof of what's been done. Hartech will have a chat with you I'm sure as there can't be that many orange 997s they see! you can also put the car on their maintenance scheme if you're relatively local on a monthly payment schedule.. FWIW, my experience of PCT has only been positive when they were affiliated to Autobahn, though the PCT guys ultimately took over the sales side as well - I had my first 996 from Autobahn & PCT serviced it.

That would be my first port of call after a test drive. Out of interest, anyone have any reference for how much these would usually go for? Post Hartech, maybe not the same paint scheme, but an '07 Gen1 c2s with ~50k on the clock?
Just thinking bargaining position etc. Although I'm sure they'll have a few enquiries.

Looks seriously overpriced to me. You could get a 997.2 S for that money. Nothing special about it.
There are zero 997.2 s cars on PH or AT after a quick glance at the price. Let alone with the spec. I'd genuinely happily take a Gen2 if they're out there but I'm not sure if the market has shifted or what. Only 3.6 cars with poverty spec & middling miles anywhere near £35k. I think that's the point - there are still Gen 2 cars that won't need much work, if any, to drive well if you keep them for a few years. Must be rare for that to be the case with a 10 year-old Gen 1.
I'm thinking about whether to spend £5k on my 997.2 S next year or buy another one with fewer miles or that has had work done. These cars aren't cheap once they start to need work.

Neatly bought the car myself as a daily driver
OPC Bristol recently sold a mint guards red 997.1 C2S fully loaded with less miles than the orange cat, 2 year OPC warranty for just under £30k
Make the orange car seem rather expensive.
At this price point I would pay a few grand extra for a 997.2, come resale time the 997.2 will loose far less money.

The guy selling the C2S above paid around £30k for the car 2years ago and then spent £7k on a Harlech rebuild.
I've got a 997.2 turbo but also tempted by a 997 C2S as a daily driver to replace my BMW M3.
Personally would not pay any more than £26k for a 997.1 C2S, however it's all personal choice.
If the gen 1 engines weren't known to be a bit crap, this car would be seriously overpriced. I don't see how a repaired engine adds value myself
I'd rather my money went into buying a newer car that would hold value better than one that had been well fixed
I don't think there is much performance between 345BHP Gen 1 S and 355BHP Gen 2 3.6
Surely something like this makes more sense & these will hold value better in the short, medium and long term in my opinion
