Very useful for sticking to 50mph limits on UK motorway roadworks, and for European motorways where people understand the concept of lane discipline smile

Don't understand why you can't spec the sport suspension or whatever it was called anymore on a C2. If I had more money available,I would spec the PCCBs before speccing anything else.

I know .... but so many boring speed limits on the way to the driving roads...

I specced that on my BGTS, and almost 2 years down the line I couldn't tell you where the lights are or how it differs to one without hehe Must have been havnig a proper soft moment when I specced it silly

I've ordered similar on my last two cars and it does lift the interior ambience a little.. Would definitely check it out in more detail on the 991 before ordering though!

Yeah, totally. When you're spending that much money on a new car it's soooo easy to think "ah, it's only another X hundred quid and I'm spending so much already so I might as well....." !!! I had to reeeeeally rein myself in not to spec anything too daft hehe

Yep, all too easy to get carried away.. I like the look of adding retro beige dials and seat belts to my spec but, taking into account the chrono dial too you'd be in for hundreds!

Just to add to this, my wife just spec'd a nice base Carrera thus:

Guards Red
Sport-Tex leather interior in black
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Electrically folding exterior mirrors
Electric slide/tilt glass sunroof
7-speed manual transmission
19-inch Carrera wheels
Wheel centres with full-colour Porsche Crest
Cruise Control
Speed limit display
Automatically dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensor
GT - Sport steering in Leather
Heated multi-function steering wheel
Sports seats Plus (4-way, electric)
Smoking package
Passenger footwell storage net

Nice discount so the options basically came for nothing. Arrives June/July

Agreed! We have bought a few new and used Porsches, but nearly always from a different dealer.

This was also a dealer we had not worked with before. Other dealers could not get close, not did many have build slots this year.

Not sure quite how I managed it, but not complaining!
