Apologies for not wasting through 272 pages, but for stock new Cayennes, what APR might I expect to be charged and any ideas re GFVs? I can't see any finance calculator la on the Porsche website unless I'm being dim? Would rather not a 2 hour round trip to establish it's well out of budget!

I’ve heard this now from a couple of OPC’s, so perhaps some aspect of the current issues are starting to be solved??
Interesting.

I've had my eye on a particular new 992 GTS, it's been advertised for ages with a £10k discount. Look on the website yesterday ready to put in a cheeky end of quarter offer; somewhat surprised to see the discount removed and back up at list!

Try and find another asap, if you can…
I just did a good deal on a GT3 Touring, and they sold both the ones they had in stock the same day!

You're a star! That's really helpful thanks, thought I still can't see how I would have navigated to that page myself! Hefty APR but offset by high GFVs - ok if you basically consider it a rental I suppose, I can't imagine much equity in that come end of term!

This is becoming more and more common with opc as stock starts to build, they don’t have the luxury of commanding retail day in day out so they are being creative on how they now drawer people in.

If it was 10k cheaper last week it was probably due to them having too much stock, they have now sold a few so can play with the stock balance sheet again.

Just make an offer of what you want to pay for it and walk away if it doesn’t get over the line, there’s no shortage of 992 cars for sale.

No matter how much they need you the prices will never be low enough for some.

I know a retired ex-Porsche/specialist dealer.
He always says that the weather has a huge influence on ‘feel good’ buying decisions.
Says, once we get the longer days and warmer temperatures, the ‘sports’ market will rapidly bounce back into life.

Of course they will, that and eventually people realise they aren’t getting any younger ever year, cycle of life, things get more expensive year on year and people adapt, those that can no longer afford the car they want fall by the wayside and they get replaced by someone else who can.

Porsche will be grand no matter what, their future certainly doesn’t rely on a handful of posters on a forum that think they are too expensive.

Porsche are incredibly season sensitive. I see bigger swings in Porsche stuff than I get with Lotus. Work that one out!

Porsche overwhelmed by orders for Macan EV

I think that's a publicity stunt, no one I know would touch one at the silly money there asking, as for a Taycan............................ not a hope for it, biggest flop on the planet.
Well we're sold out into 2025 and have a waiting list. But I'm sure you know better.
once again there is no substance to what unrepentant says. for we all know the dealership is in some hick town in the midwest that got allocated 40 macan ev for 24. what does into 25 mean? jan 25, feb 25 or june 25?? how many peeople on the waiting list? 1, 5, 50???!

for comparison a top 5 opc (sales) in uk, can get you car for december 24 if you place an order now. considering that they get first couple cars in july/august, with proper deliveries starting in sept, sales arent great in uk. a mid table opc is currently able to get cars for jan/feb 25.

I think many who are into new Porsches and looking for a new electric porsche will look at how expensive their Taycan has cost to own and may sit the EV Macan out until the dust settles.

The EV Macan has to perform really well in terms of quality and reliability, plus the battery performance needs to blow the Taycan out the park for it to be a big hit.

Personally I think it look very nice visually, but not looked into any detail on it after how the Taycan has performed.

Watch the price of eg Spyders rise once the post Easter 'heatwave' hits.

Ok cabs admittedly an extreme case but my Spyder sold for around ten percent more than it was worth the previous October. Same story most quality used sports cars albeit to a lesser degree.

Unrepentant is in the US. The market is very different there (here). If McLaren 720s were offered at UK prices here, I’d have bought one years ago.

Some one posted here that Porsche can never be cheap enough for some. I’m afraid I’m part of that because I see the deals you are getting in the UK and can’t bring myself to paying the fair market value in the US. I hold my hands up and say that’s my issue.

Also, Porsche has a good pipeline of buyers in the US. They will use finance when it makes sense but will pay cash if the rates are high. Where I live I can’t believe how many Porsches I see. At least 1000:1 compared to Jaguar. More Cayennes than Merc MLS by 1000:1. I see 20x Macans than Golfs. While none of these numbers are exact, they all are conservative.

I will continue driving my 2013 Cayenne GTS. People tell me it’s not worth selling at $20k value so I might as well keep it and buy another car along side it.
