I don't think they will do much, if anything. Look at the problem with Taycan and even that is only at 9.9% with them.

911 is one of the most desirable cars in the UK. Particularly for older buyers - who are better able to pay cash.

They are still selling them.

It's whether they're selling enough of them, fast enough.

Next two quarters will be critical. I suspect dealers/Porsche have avoided panicking to get to spring, which will be the real litmus test.

I am not in a position to buy new, but that kind of attitude would have me walking out of the dealer, if I am paying for new, one of the main benefits is being able to spec it how I want.

Is there demand for new E Macan then? I assumed with Taycan prices plummeting demand would be very small.

On a new Porsche though, I would still want it to my spec, not specced to suit some salesman.

I think the Taycan numbers are an act of fiction....having been at my OPC last week I've got a rough idea how many new cars they have, it's quite a lot more than the single digit numbers on the website. There are 9 OPC's showing they have none in stock....

Been saying this for years that not all stock is listed, they drip feed to keep numbers low, also they move cars around in group to make it look like they are selling only to be advertised at a different OPC weeks later

Tell them to do one and phone around, those days are long gone.

It’s all a game of smoke and mirrors.

Just to add to the conversation. I picked up a 992 4 GTS this week, ex-dealer demo with 2000 miles on clock. Very high spec. Car was 89 days old on collection. I paid £122k against price on Dec 28th of £157k

So list less 20% ... a great price ... for 2000 miles which in a few years time will be almost insignificant ...

With Easter, is today the last day of the quarter ?

Nope. Porsche’s ‘sales’ quarter ended today.

Dealers are open over the weekend, but no sales will be processed until Tuesday as all Porsche’s admin services are closed over Easter.

Tell the salesman you’ll spec it the way you want and take delivery in January.
