Wet road, GT2, technician on roadtest with HRF (heavy right foot), go figure.
All allegedly of course.
nope that was my car (a blue one)
Another Gt2 (Yellow one) was crashed recently - Porsche service manager picked car up at customers house, and had an "incident" on a wet road on the way to the dealership. - This is the one which is about to be repaired by a third party.
Dealmaker, my "source" told me Silverstone OPC had an "incident" with a yellow GT2. Sambamans response would appear to confirm this, can you shed any further light on the situation ? have they impact tested three cars ie two yellow ones and your blue one ?
Sounds like they're singlehandedly trying to trash the entire UK quota of cars

So the top tip of the day, is to get the dealer to pick the car up on a flatbed if they are taking it in for servicing?
Or deliver and collect it yourself?
When I was being returned home by one of the OPC drivers in one of their cars, their driver was often not in the right gear for the speed - mechanicals complaining and he also clobbered a kerb. Can they be trusted with a flatbed?
From another post here thankfully it is not my yellow GT2 that has been reported as damaged. When I bought mine last June took it to the local OPC for the history and 111 point check to re-establish the warranty.

I'd heard of a Yellow one damaged at Silverstone and in ADDITION the (Yellow) one clobbered recently up here at/by the local OPC (i.e NOT Silverstone).
I think if I was buying a Yellow one in the near future I'd want to know it's history INTIMATLEY!
I work with the data protection act (DPA) in my job.
My understanding is that as long as the OPC doesn't identify the name of the owner/s, they should be able to give you a service and repaair history of the car without concerns about the DPA.
If they still decide not to respond to such requests for information, then it may be a policy decision they have taken for commercial reasons, but the DPA has little to do with it.
