I saw the stand at Goodwood, but I must've missed something. You had a facelift GT3(factory 381bhp), with revo mods and special fuel, but the bhp readout seemed to be a consistent 359bhp????

you get throttle response, timing and A/F adjustment via the Revo SPS3 (Serial Port Switch)

What do you mean by 'throttle response adjustment'? Surely this is a function of the A/F and ignition settings anyway? Or are you talking about 'accelerator clamp' loadings (e.g. enrichment when you stab the throttle, etc....)

Throttle 'response' adjustment... just changes the response of the throttle, ie: throttle sensitivity

I take it we are talking fly by wire throttle? If the throttle is connected directly, how is this altered?

So thats a claimed 430bhp at the wheels from a remap and petrol? So whats the estimate at the crank?

These gains are incredible. Can we expect 415bhp at the wheel from the 100Ron fuel you can just buy at the normal price in Germany? I'm presuming 100Ron isn't outside the dynamic range of the OEM map.

No , it was 318 at the wheels (stock) to 364 at the wheels (revo+102)

The stock ecu i suspect will stop advancing the timing at 98 octane (conjecture, i don't know this).. but it will never advance it as much as is possible for safely, hence you get more power through just a remap just on 98..

The gains must be there, Dan. I've seen the plots from Weltmeisters runs and they're almost identical to what the Revo guys got at Goodwood. I've yet to try the "102" test, but Allan's asked me to come up some time for a run using Optimax and then 102.

BTW my car has been Revo'd, and the re-map alone found me 23hp (382-405), so a better fuel will prove interesting....

Not as skeptical now. I was under the impression that 430 was claimed at the wheels!
