Great to see you guys. Sorry that I couldn't spend more time with you. We got the car working well in the afternoon with a great balance. Quick. Got a session in Tims car, It's the quickest Gt3 I've driven and its got a lovely balance. As a guide, a standard GT3RS would pull about 135mph before the braking zone at Hawthorn, in the Parr Car its about 142. In Tims car, I was showing 148MPH! Mad........ unless he's upgraded the speedo

Steve

What mods does Tim's car have? Is this the one I saw at Spa with the slightly stripped interior with scrutineer's stickers on the cage and a racing steering wheel and metal pedals?

Thats Tims car

Cheers fellas, but Steve said it was the fastest 996 GT3 RS out there. Why is this? Any engine mods? Or is just the lightest out there?

Steve and Timmo, what modifications have you made to your RS's to make them so much faster?

I know steve has worked with PARR, and I think has JRZ suspension and BBS wheels. Are there any other modifications?
And Timmo, how did you do it then?

Tim thanks for the info on the 906,i know bills car.
They are basically a pile of tubes and fiberglass, expensive pile though! Awesome little cars,230bhp and 570KG.
So you are trying to get your gt3,s to be as quick as the couple of 993rs then!
Have fun

Im testing the Carbon fibre wheels - one set has 5 spokes but the newer version
has 9 spokes - they look so good - they are made by Dymag
Ive tried hard to break them but they are still holding up well
wheels improve the turn in and the car wheelspins a lot easier !

Paul -
Im still trying to lose some weight( + the car !) as Im not competitive against the lighter
cars in the Porsche Speed championship ..
but its fun learning and they are a good bunch of people

Cargraphic are still selling those cf doors + front wings and a light weight carpet set. Seems a shame to do too much to an RS though?

The 3.9 cargraphic RSC won the tuner GP again this year though, so clearly it works as that’s beating tuned GT2s etc!
