Ta , O luminous one.

Some questions :
What's wrong with flying yourself everywhere?

What's the problem with having a big nose?(Don't worry Gary ,I have no doubt that mine casts the greater shadow)

What's wrong with being a short arse , having to always pull the seat forward after my wife gets out ?

Finally (and seriously) Who the is Plato?

I had assumed that 5th Gear would have let Tiff review it (being associated with Porsche in the past, as he was). His review of the 996TT on Top Gear backin 2000 was very nicely done!

Actually, I'm not that impressed with the styling of the new 997TT.

I originally saw the two show cars at Geneva, where it was overshadowed by the new GT3. Since seen a few at OPCs, on the road, and on TV last night, and find it a bit too fussy.

It's odd because the 997 was a clear step forward over the 996, but IMO 996TT looks nicer than the 997TT.

the wheels look too spindly and blingy, they dont match the rest of the styling.

.. Fussy seems to me to be a good word to describe it's looks ...

It's like the Porsche bean counters decided they could attract the 'bling merchants' along with the genuine enthusiasts.

Yeah, I just gotta have those ceramic discs to get to Tesco's and back!

Wish they would put those LED's on the reg 997.

Is it me or have these motoring programmes lost some of their appeal. I mean in the ole days the camera and presenter would go all around and in the car so we could all have a good look at it. Now its just, here is, jump in and lets power slide it around. Now its all on test tracks there is never any detail on how the car will be on the road.

Oh well, just haved to pop into my OPC and blag one for an hour.

I love the way it looks, and I'm normally a narrow body type.

Better not let Clarkson have a go - he'll come up some crap name for it, say it's not cool, and that it drives like a Trabbant. I missed it but it's on again Saturday 11.40am.
