[ 3)The majority of the petulant bunfights on here have been started by the 'defenders of everthing Porsche is brilliant club'.All i offer is an alternative opnion on the cars after owning lots of them, hopefully a less biased opinion to stop people making expensive mistakes(like i have many times)regards KAYC.

Funny, I always thought that the Porsche forum gives a pretty balanced opinion, of course it will always sway towards Porsche point of view, but not to excess, IMO. OK, some biased threads come out over the model range but I always take the jibes as humorous and not serious, but then I have to coz I've got a Boxster S which seems always to be butt of all the jokes still, BLAIROUT always comes to the rescue

However I feel the Porsche forum is in contrast to typical threads on a certain paranoid British car manufacturers forum that I could mention (cough TVR cough) that appears to take offence to anything that does not give them god like reviews and then end up slating any and all other marques other than their own to make them look good!

(now running away as slightly scared of Kayc)

Point taken Daz, but one of the best things about PH is the collection of nutters who post here. In the main they're a fantastic bunch, completely not 'up themselves' and are genuinely funny in real life too.

For me the PH Porsche crew add to the whole experience.

I'll say no more, I don't like it in the bin.

Totally agree, the banter/retorts can be great, but a balance has to be achieved where members are not put off from contributing to the forum, which can occur if it appears too cliquey or if too many threads go totally off topic.

DAZ
Now going Off Topic! Think I saw activity on the BTaP forum yesterday, must have a chat when we're sober at this years event.
