Best Porsche Forum??
Discussion
You'll have to catch me pretty early then Daz
KayC, you and MWHM were rattling people. A few threads that had the potential for good discussion got derailed. Most of us when we post back up our reasoning for our opinions of why one car is better suited than another rather than just going "That's a pile of poo that is".
You have to realise that to most owners their Porsche is their P&J and no matter how much we rib each other in many cases the car is a result of a lifelong desire to own a Porsche of whatever flavour.
Internet forums are no different from the real world, treat people as you would wish to be treated yourself.

Point taken Daz, but one of the best things about PH is the collection of nutters who post here. In the main they're a fantastic bunch, completely not 'up themselves' and are genuinely funny in real life too.
For me the PH Porsche crew add to the whole experience.

Totally agree, the banter/retorts can be great, but a balance has to be achieved where members are not put off from contributing to the forum, which can occur if it appears too cliquey or if too many threads go totally off topic.

Oh dear, how important you and ducatigary think you are.
Rereading the thread this evening I've noticed I didn't respond to this point (I hope all the others were covered).
Don't think either of us believe we're important. I was just suggesting that if you want to get to know people better you have the option to e-mail or meet them. If a group of people form a friendship that's great.
This bit more also surprise you, I don't want a GT3. I don't want a 996 TT either. Neither could fulfil what I need from a car. However, I think both are fantastic machines, I can appreciate why people go for either.
If you want to reread my posts you'll see I've never been anything other than courteous to you, I'm only rude to my friends.
As an aside I'll use the 'Report Abuse' link on anything looking suspiciously Troll like.
