996 Key doesnt work

There is no passanger key slot in a 996 or boxster.
Your link rod from the barrel to the door lock will not be connected. have seen this before no fuse will help you as its a mechanical override incase of a flat battery or when the alarm system shuts down the remote operation after so many days think its 5.

So are you saying when the reciever shuts down after 5 days the lock is active?
