Porsche only day at Bedford

Just had a call from MSV who are running a Porsche only day at Bedford on Saturday 9th Dec for £120 - for the day ! Bargain !!

Just looked on their website, says it's Fri 8th Dec, not Sat 9th.

Hope it's the 9th, don't wanna sacrifice a days holiday just before Xmas!

If it's good weather then a bargain - if not it's a God forsaken windy hole of a place to spend a day shivering - at least they do free tea and biscuits. Still nice early Xmas present to self - worth a punt?

Any places left for the Bedford Day? Does anyone know which circuit they run on?

anyone tell me the nature of this day? is it one of the ones where you only get eight laps or one of the ones where you only come back in when youve been killed? id like to go to either, frankly.

Its Open Pitlane, on the GT circuit - so should be plenty of track time.

My only comment, if you haven't been to Bedford before, is it has basically no "landscape" features whatsoever and is dead flat so is very difficult to learn (for me anyway). Mind you this is based on precisely one visit.

I hope there might be an opportunity for a passenger ride in a mk1 GT3 and a 964RS if anyone's kind enough to take me out for a few laps. I'm looking for a swap next year and would like some experience of both cars mentioned.

Any offers kindly appreciated. And if you wanted a few laps in a 968 in return you'd of course be very welcome.
