Anyone else also had one of their air vents loose a bit of platic and a pin that holds it in place (its the bit that enables the vent to distribute air from left to right)...dealer said it was the second they'd seen...looks a messy job to me to fix.
Yes you cannot fix it unless you can find another pin. New air vent is around £70 for one of the side ones. Fitting doesn't take long.
Just tried renewing my warranty that expires on the 23rd January with Porsche Nottingham. They told me "No can do - only up to 8 weeks in advanced". I complained and got sent to talk with someone at Porsche Reading. They told me the same. Warranties can only be bought up to 8 weeks in advance - no exceptions as the computer system won't allow it. Bollox.
Ballcock how did you manage to renew you warranty from Feb ? Was there any resistance at all ?
I have just received the same response as others - can only renew 8 weeks in advance. My warranty is up for renewal right at the start of Jan so apparently I don't qualify by about 3 days !!!. They don't want to start the new policy 3 days earlier either.
Naturally I am kicking up a fuss, but as you got yours renewed I assume this stance is just to prevent folk getting in early which is not really playing ball.
Update : Sorry missed the later posting, ballcock also got the call back etc ......

Ii think it's more a function of someone being a dumb ass accepting it. I'd check this is valid, Mr Cock and Balls....
Yup , 8 weeks it is even though I get on VERY well with the lovely lady in service at West Sussex who said she might, just, be able to extend it a tad for me! Phnarr Phnarr !
(Mind you as mine actually runs out in May we both came to the conclusion that it might have been pushing my luck just the teenysist amount - but I told her that my mate Ballcock said it was true, and everyone is doing it)
Edited to add, that I had also missed Ballcock's last posting on the subject too - and I always thought his word was law in all things Porsche (apart from PSE of course !!!)

With her I wouldn't need an hour........................so £30 should do it, unless its charged by the inch when I would get change from a tenner !!
So you'd do it three times then...
..........................if only !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (£20 of that was to pay for the motel room)
