It may be an 01 with 50 on the clock, or pure track car.

If it isn't.................. I'm gonna cry.

Actually one of those win / win situations. We`ve taken it in part exchange and so pretty much allowed the guy what he wanted. Showing circa 20k miles on the speedo, replacement service book with a single stamp at the main dealer`s. As such not guaranteeing the milage to be correct. There will be a big gap between the bug and retail price (ie not the normal £2k), because at £49,995 the car is indeed the mother of all cheap cars and so it`s going as seen without us spending any time and effort. The retail price will probably be in the mid £50k`s at which time we wave our magic wand over the car and hold the buyer`s hand.

A very interesting car indeed for someone !

So it all comes down to how much/little service history one can dig up. You'd want to ring the OPC, surely?

There is never ever such a thing as a cheap Porsche. Just realistically priced ones!

I stand corrected.

I think £10,000 less at £49,995 it represents a very sound buy. Our chap had Porsche service the car and pop a warranty on it for him so it can`t be all bad !

Lonmans car was chipped and running a claimed 1.4 bar (I had it on email from him personally a few years back) and also I believe it had a big custom fuel-tank (200 litres from memory) fitted into the front to increase the distance between stops on the Gumball.

That car has re-appeared from my original post a long time ago.... its a cheap car . A friend of mine bought a yellow 03 gt2 with at least 6k worth of extra on it for 51 sterling a while back...used to be sambamans old car. Had a bit of history but still cheap like the one above...!!!
