I was looking on the top gear website the other day and noticed that one of my cars is sub zero cool and the other is seriously uncool. It made me chuckle to myself because i own a landrover defender and a gt3.Guess which ones sub zero..
NO! That is just ridiculous! I love landies, but how could ANYONE not love a GT3 as much?! Now there's a bitter man

... I tried for AGES to persuade my nearest and (unfortunatelyhehe)nearest that a Defender was the way to go if she really wanted a 4be4.. There was no talking to her .. So we've ended up with her preference .. an XC90.

And my point?? .. Can anyone help with the sort of persuasive tactics that will make it a Defender when it comes time to change ?????????

Nah... threaten to burn all her left shoes.

This means:
1. she still gets to see how pretty they all were but is unable to wear them.
2. the lack of shoes means she'll be confined to the kitchen and bedroom- where all women should be.
3. when she kicks you in the balls it won't hurt as much.

With the DMS the Defender goes very well cruises no problem in the outside lane and the pickup , torque is so much better

Ive had G-Wagen and Cayennes before but this XS Defender 110 looks the business and Im pleased
with the decision

Well, I've got a Defender too !

And I believe that Clarkson has a very sweet GT3MkI in that very bright metallic orange colour (altzeimers maybe setting in --- but by the time I really notice I hope to have forgotten that as well !!)

Assuming it really was the Clarkson, he also told me that the GT3 has now become Super Cool.

I try never to go near "that London" myself, but you may find it useful to know that a 9 seater Defender is exempt of the Congestion Charge. Something to do with having more than 8 seats qualifies it as a bus, regardless of how many people are actually in it.

Could save 2 grand a year for a 5 day a week commuter.............
