Not mad. A mate of mine has a Manthay Racing 996 TT and a 997 TT. But then again he is mad... both are currently sitting in Porsche's workshop undergoing major work as a result of punishing driving.

Why not consider modifying your existing 993 and create your ideal car?

Because i've had a 993tt and it just didn't get to me like the n/a cars do, but i still have a hankering for that RCT (ahem!).
Got any pics of yours??? Pretty please?

Confused? You prefer normally aspirated cars but you want an (964) RCT and you've got a 993?

Coincidentally my car has just been been photographed for (another) forthcoming Total 911 feature comparing modifications for 964s. The article will compare the RUF turbo and the Ninemeister supercharger as great engine mods for a 964/993.

If you prefer n/a then the supercharger would be ideal for you.

Why don't you give Colin Belton a call and discuss mods for your 993? a 4.0 litre supercharged 993 with 2wd would be awesome and perhaps a GT2 beater.

But the n/a 993 is my daily driver and is perfect for that, a single large turbo on an older 911 sounds like heaps of fun

I've accepted that going fast and having fun have absolutely nothing to do with each other at all...
