993 bargain, too good to be true?
Discussion
A friend of mine lives in Dubai and has bought a similarly cheap 996.
His words of warning when I considered an import through him - people are really into new cars there. Second hand cars get little respect - and get absolutely caned, constantly. His experience was that a 2nd hand Porsche bought in the middle east will have almost certainly been driven as if it were stolen, every single day.
Get a good (and I mean very, very good) inspection. Cheap Porsche does not equal cheap repair bills.

Good advice cheers. They do seem to be exceptionally well specced out there.
Kinda fallen in love with this one http://rides.webshots.com/album/55460 - think it sold for just under £20k.

My uncle lives in Abu-Dhabi and runs a Maserati Cambicorsa which he bought brand new for £35k.
Also, about 15 or so years ago, my dad imported 3 new Mitsubishi Pajero's (Shoguns to us) into the UK from there, a few months before they were launched in the UK. There was enough profit in importing the three at the time to pay for a 4th one for us.
So I can vouch for cars being cheap out there.
