on a more serious note, cant believe you've plumped for a lancia over a 944 - had you forgotten the fun you had in one when the gt3 was otherwise engaged?

have you driven one?

if you haven't, don't knock them

er, yes I have

lots of fun i grant you. but a properly set up s2 knocks it into a cocked hat.

and if you don't know whether or not someone has driven one, dont knock them

no knocking from over here

PMT softy?

neither did I nervy. not a strange post at all. simply responding in exactly equal measure. if sleep envy wasn't patronizing me then ergo i wasn't doing so to him, since my post deliberately mirrors his.. if he was, well, as ye sow.... but don't let it vex you mate - I'm just yanking back on the chain. doesn't dilute my best wishes to you for safe and speedy journeys (pork-free??? cant bear to say it)

not exactly. but this afternoon, after drinking 4 litres of isotonic bowel preparation, I did have a strange masked man shove a 2 metre telescope up my exhaust pipe. so perhaps i am unusually touchy. and then ....no, you don't want to know the rest

edited to add that as someone struggling to retain a semblance of heterosexuality whilst driving a 968 cab, the irony is not lost on me

Lovely looking car Nerv.
Did you ever hear the story told by Scuderia Driver Mr E Irvine told about his experience in a Lancia Delta Integrale ?
He must have got the car as a freebie drive when he was Herr Schumacher's partner.
Anyway, he's test driving it up through the hills around Mugello, going at about 100, and he can see blue lights behind him, far behind him. So he just carries on hooning, doesn't think its for him.[we've all been there]
Eventually when he's off the benzina, they catch him up. In the way only Italian Police can, they run at the car and start banging the windscreen and shouting, but after a moment they recognise him and their banging goes from HEY HEY HEY to... Eddieoooh Eddie aaaah Eddie. Only in Italy.
Obviously sounds better when he's telling it to Parky.
