I've got my balaclava and lead pipe ready, I'll be off there at the weekend for a rummage.

eek

What a fantastic car.

I was at the RMA trackday last year (passengering) at silverstone with some of these on the track. They made the cup car feel like it was standing still

Words can't do justice to that. That is the coolest 4-wheeled thing I have ever seen. I don't know if I'm coming or going looking at those shots...one part of me is wondering what I could do to ever get my hands on one, another part is resigned to it never happening, another bit is telling me to not be so defeatist, and a last little bit is telling that bit to shut up, get real and put the kettle on.

I'm all excited and depressed at the same time. I know you'll hate me asking, bergmeister, and it's a terrible faux pas to ask - but I sort of have to so that I can put your car somewhere between here and infinity on my horizon - give or take a bit, how much is that car worth? Dare I dream? Or are we talking about the sort of sums normally the preserve of South American pharmaceutical entrepreneurs?

Edited to add - seriously. That car makes the McLaren F1 look a bit effete. What's under the rear deck? It looks like a TT Flat 6. Any juicy details for us?

I used to think being driven by Derek Bell in his 956 was quite an achievement.

Try starting a thread called 'Bergmeister, is this your 962?' and see how far it goes

Very nice Bergmeister.
How many hours do you get out of your engine ? as much as 50 ?
Was at Paragon last year, invited to see their race cars.
The engine in this one looks surprisingly similar to yours.
The owner said he got about 50 hours and it was a 50k rebuild!

3.3litre I believe.

He who dies with the most toys wins - and you are wining in spades. Respect!!!!!!!!!

Anyone told Flemke he running a badly placed second??, but then I suppose he is at least at the races.

Looks like I must work harder.

Enjoy them both both.
