It'd had the Bejaysus cleaned out of it, proper trader style as well. You know the stuff, cut 'n' shine.
To be honest I could make a car look very like this for about what £17k ? [tops]
Similar seats on e bay for £750. Whats a cage in £500 ?
Set of ruf alloys a grand ?
Granted it wouldn't go like it.
Very very over rated. Must be SOR, really poor treatment from them.
Can't want to sell it.
Its rare, granted, but better than an RS2.7 ?
Surely buying one of those GT2's in Universal, and sticking the lot in a 964 would cost a lot less.
Lonmans famous GT2 against this, you can't be serious.
Envy's RS against this, you're joking, if they were next to each other Id have Envys any day.
Porsche on the tax disc, so non Ruf Vin I'd imagine.

I'd rather have the reshelled 993GT2, yes

The Viper Green car belonged to me for a year or two. I bought it from John @ Pullicino's and had it serviced by RUF in Weybridge. I can't remember the mileage when I bought it but I seem to remember it was about 55K KM, happy to check though.

IIRC someone posted on here recently about it being in a collection and off the road for 6 years. Looks tatty in the photo's and £99K seems a little on the high side (x2).

I traded the car back with John for a yellow Roock. I paid about £55K for it and traded it back for about ther same. Great car and wish I had kept it.

There was a large file of bills/reciepts for the car which came over from Germany. Took a little while to get from John (bless him!)

Happy to dig out what I have if anyone is interested.

Paul, nice choice of cars, esp your current toy . In the photos, the mileage shows as 42k....

Thought I'd better check, didn't wish to make out it was in some way dodgy....sure enough purchased the car in November 1997, used a colleagues PP, 1 EBG and was therefore registered in her name. I/She was the first keeper in the UK.

Mileage on the car was approx 38K when I bought it and 41K when I sold it two years later.....although have a feeling that is kilometers. The car had a major 12K service at 40374 km's in 08/98 @ RUF Weybridge. So the mileage sounds like it could be right.

Oddly, the reg.no. on the car looks wrong as it should actually read PRD not PRC!!

Needless to say if anyone buys it yikes I have some of the original German service history and the UK part up until end of '99.

Beautiful pics SG. They must be awesome fun but from experience I reckon you'd have just as much fun in a 2.7RS at far more sane speeds. Or at least speeds that won't get you a prison sentence.
That blue Japan car looks Green in some of the pics, I would be very sorely tempted if it was black.

Thanks very much, it's been off the road for a bit, smacked the sump, but happily now running again...albeit when the suns out.

Dropped by to try to get the boys to take this out on Saturday, however it was unfortunately not there.
Its gone to Denmark.
A Ruf dealer there bought it, and its gone.
I couldn't weadle the price out of them.
