I'd definitely recommend Paul McLean at GT Classics, based entirely on the fact that he resold my old car last May...anyone who has that quality of stock on his books has to be good I'm not so sure about one or two others mentioned, but will respect the name and shame rules...

At the moment cars from some dealers are going up in value quicker than Richard Bransons hot air balloons... I would say that Paul is the best option - I have had only two dodgy cars from him...!! All joking aside, word of mouth and GT Classics are the best bet. Remember, the "virgins from the bordello" need a trip to 'The Clinic' for those STD'S... scratchchin

Presume Paul McLean sources them, as one of the cars is also for sale on mobil.de?

yes

also have a look at H&S's site www.germansportscars.de

Ta, my friend spent ages trying to find that site.

Theres more rs's on here than you can point an oily dipstick at.

got some lovely stock - if you have the wedge of course. that 996 GT2 has been around a long time but I guess it will do at that price

funnily enough I had H&S and another broker chasing my car - Tom was a bit more enterprising getting it into the EU

Was originally sold Germany then went to Switzerland, back to Germany temporarily and now Blighty

Was a bit tricky tracing the history but with a bit investigation I've tracked down the previous owners

GT Classics can help yo ...errr... your friend source cars from Germany. I believe that he links up with H & S Hermanns & Schmitz Automobile GmbH. Perhaps try Paul Stephens as well?

Check out www.mobile.de if you want to try sourcing direct.

I'm sure the wise bearded ones will be along with better advice shortly.

I'm neither bearded nor wise, but would be happy to help in a shaven and stupid capacity. I remain at your disposal to make any kolls in der deutsche sprache und zo on. Oettinger Sportwagen Zentrum in Hamburg usually have access to some nice bits - I went to see a couple of their RSs recently, and provided you threaten to kill them if they dare quoting their usual prices, they might be worth a call.
