Fantastic, I noticed one of mine seems about 2 PSI short, could you pop over to cheshire to transfer it?

I must be downhill as I am at the bottom bordering with Staffordshire, so it can only be down on the map :-)

In exchange I have my tax disc from the year before last that I no longer need? thumbup

you're all very funny - but how does this help the gnatt's-chuff tight OP??

i, on the other hand, have 'loads' of insects that've been squished by my bonnet - i'd happily donate these (hell, i'd even pay for postage, that's how generous i am). that way, the OP can scatter them on his car and then he'll really see what a difference the clay bar can make (assuming he's managed to scrounge one off someone in the last 7 months)

Don't worry about that. I'll open the doors and wait for a strong gust of wind to power me back up the hill. I can also use the kindly donated tax disc as a small but useable sail. Home Ahoy !!

Has anyone got some spare porkers they could send 'round to my house and leave for me to drive? I only have a (lowly) 944, and would quite like to try something a bit smarter, but can't be ar*ed to go and buy one ... I quite like the looks of those 993's, but if it has to be a 996 I have heard that the GT3's are the ones to go for!
I seem to be a bit short on offers here.

Tell you all what. I'll swap half a (used) clay-bar AND some rubber scraped off the road for a decent 993.

In fact, I'll even throw in a few flies, for good measure. You can't say fairer than that, now can you? What? You want more? OK, (and it kills me to say this), I have some old brake pads from my Golf I took out about a year ago. You can have them too. There's nearly a whole millimetre of pad left on them too - 500 miles worth.

OK now, please form an orderly queue ....

Why don't you call up your OPC and ask for a free service? They will probably give you a free valet why the car is in, that way you won't need to use a clay bar when you get the card back!

If Ravi was to put his mind to it, theres actually a profit to be made from his clay bar.

By claying his car and carefuly removing the grit from the bar, he could actually go into business selling Pork Scratchings.

Be a millionaire in no time.

I've just proven that it is possible to almost die from choking on an apple.

Actually, there's a bit still left on the core.... Ravi, what's you address?

I get the sense with the prevailing cynicism on this thread that it's unlikely that i'll get the desired result. Probably end up selling the 964 then and buy a barge instead. Anyone got any spare deck lacquer?

Only if you follow this top tip on saving on ski lift passes.

You and a friend (assuming you have one) need to climb up a mountain that you can ski down on at least two sides. Attach a long length of rope between the two of you and then you have to ski down to the bottom of the mountain while your friend waits at the top. When you get to the bottom your friend can then ski down the other side of the mountain while simultaneously dragging you up the other.

Repeat as often as you like.

But the laws of physics and all that . . .

Wouldn't you have to have a Fat Mate weighing twice as much as you to pull you up as he (or she) goes down the mountain?

Where's Henry Firman?

You'd need a lot of ski wax. Anyone have any spare to send to Ravi?
