Glad you got things sorted Keith, Tom's crew did a fine job on my Flymo.

And agree, getting these kind of cars done is a no brainer...

See you at the Ring, are you crossing with all the lovely truckers out of Hull again ? biggrin

Gotta say Keith.....saw your car at Silverstone and thought the job looked stunning. Tom and Anne ARE the most helpful guys I've encountered in this business.

Did a great job on my flymo too

Heyup peeps...had the front end on the RS done along with bumper / rear bumper / half of the bonnet / wings etc...ask them for a quote...and been honest ...you would be a fool not too...paintshield is much cheaper than paintwork..and i personally would prefer factory paint...paintshield helps maintain the factory paint.....

As I'm just about to book my car in for a front-end respray, I'd be keen to understand whether Paintshield is better than the polythene sheeting my OPC showed me glued to a car a few years back ?

Nothing beats the glint of the sun off a properly polished Porker and I'd probably rather fork out for more paint than stick something offensive onto the front of the car....so how good is Paintshield when properly applied ? Any before and after photos ?

What sort of cost for doing that amount of covering, Sandy? (sorry, bit cheeky, but looking to have my new purchase done as soon as I get it...er, when I've found said car!!)

Car looks cracking, btw, really nice.

Man that looks fantastic. I take that there is no chance of it coming adrift or fraying at the edges or some little ned pulling half of it off for a laugh?

Sorry to harp on, but who are Tom and Anne?

Hi Tom,

Just to let you know that I'm still in the sun; no more details - for reasons that you'll understand!!

For anyone who hasn't experienced the Paintshield service then they're missing something special! Tom and his wife, Anne, are experts in their field - and the customer service that they offer is second to none. It's worth travelling any distance to gain from their vast knowledge of the paint protection industry - and then have the product installed by the experts in their purpose-built facility.

Tom, as for me, I'll be back to have something covered when I return in mid-September; hopefully it's going to begin with P and end in Turbo with 997 in the middle ;-)

He's trying to protect it from birdshit and Fearnsey's flying food fragments (munch munch).

A tarpaulin would do - £9.99 from screwfix.

Ho ho. wink I am really missing the car!! The engine rebuild is finally under way (after a lengthy wait for parts). It should be ready fairly soon. I am still planning on doing the PCGB track days at both Oulton and Donny in October. Are either of you fellas coming?
