By the way-I know its nit picking but your Ad says FBMWSH. Its not-you have 2 independants on there. Now it wouldnt bother me (in fact, I would have bought that car if I had seen it 3 months ago) but it will bother others.
Good spot - thanks - I'll get that changed today.Oh, one more thing (for the sake of those considering buying your car - or even dealing with you):
Rumbled, as quoted earlier, refers to the (a)morality that is reflected in this post of yours below. Note the emboldened text.

Right car is booked in for RTABs - hopefully this will sort the damn problem.
It will an interesting exercise to see if the combined might of M3 owners is better than the two independent garages I have spoken to.
If this doesn't fix it then I'll be flogging it on here so keep your eyes peeled !
And the last phrase suggests contempt for the good people of PH, including the Porker forum, many of whom might not have been aware of your approach to dealing! It will an interesting exercise to see if the combined might of M3 owners is better than the two independent garages I have spoken to.

OMG - DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I NEED TO SAY THIS - LEAVE ME ALONE AND GET A LIFE.
I'M NOT GETTING INTO INFANTILE CONVERSATIONS WITH YOU. YOU ARE SERIOUSLY UNDERMINING YOUR CREDIBILITY JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU "LOST" ON A PREVIOUS THREAD. GROW UP FFS.
CAPS IS ON TO TRY AND GET THE MESSAGE THROUGH TO YOU.

PH_76,
How come your advert doesn't mention the dangerous nature of your M3, which goes sideways on the motorway with no provocation ?

Now Petrolhead 5 - 0 bcnrml
And as for your scoring, you think I'd have missed the other post that I have since quoted?
Keep scoring! Enjoy.

You must choose your words and ideas for threads very carefully on pistonheads now lol. You can be rumbled so quickly. Although i still dont agree with grown men bitchin like little girls but as i say you do have to be careful with what you say..
Yes, indeed. But one only needs fear rumbling if one has a morally dubious compass and a loud (virtual) mouth to boot.I note that 996TT_stevo has pulled two of his responses in further support of the utterly rumbled and morally dubious Petrolhead76.
Might I guess why? Maybe because he realised (too late before he shot from the hip) that I didn't dig out the original thread. So, another false accusation to add to the many on these forums. Thanks! You could have let the others judge your posts, no, 996TT_Stevo?
Maybe 996TT_Stevo pulled his posts because he realised that in his defence of Petrolhead76, he referred to the very page on which the amorality was stated (in which case he clearly failed to read it - and by taking this line, I am giving 996TT_Stevo the benefit of the doubt).
Maybe 996TT_Stevo also pulled those posts because he may no longer wish to be seen defending a PH member who is so clever as to boast that he is willing to sell a car in a state that other enthusiasts in the know described as a "death trap" - see the thread and read the posts. Morally robust stuff, that.
996TT_Stevo, I'd respond directly to your posts, but I prefer to do so using your original words so that others can judge for themselves with the benefit of the facts of our written text. So I shall make no further comments to you on this matter.
As for VR6-er, you clearly keep good company. Take Petrolhead76 for a ride in your R8 when you get it (and go check that thread again, you may be surprised by what you find).
Petrolhead76, also known as Manny, I have a rhetorical but nevertheless very important question for you (and all else who read this).
Now that the evidence here and elsewhere, suggests that in your own words, you will happily sell on a potential deathtrap, do you think we PH members have a moral duty to share this information widely on the entire website, thus ensuring caveat emptor is applied to your car (and likely to you thereafter)?
If I were vindictive, I'd have done so by now. I'd been enjoying the debates, wondering if my suspicions of your moral position were valid. You validated my suspicions, and I am not vindictive.
Since the rumbling thread was dug up by someone else, I suspect you've been outed on the M3 forum as well (not checked). There are clearly inconsistencies between what you have posted here on PH, and what you have stated in your advert, some of which you have been alerted to by others on this thread.
Guess what? You've been hung by your own petard.
However, I'm no longer laughing - because your attitude in that post, if carried through in reality, could have led to the death of someone's loved one(s). For all we know, you have indeed not made those changes. I hope you have indeed done so, but if I were buying, I'd want the evidence.
Good luck to those that meet you in life (and here's hoping they get your M3 thoroughly inspected, if not for value for money, certainly for the peace of mind and lifesaving benefits).
Sorry for the long post, folks. Happily, there will be no further contributions by me to this thread.

bcnrml, I pulled 2 posts simply because I think this is getting silly, out of hand and I was having a real cheap shot to be honest. I'm big enough to say that, I actually pm'd a mod and stated that!
I have never had conversation with Petrolhead76 before in my life, he seems a decent enough guy unlike you, diggin' up other members posts and attemptin' to cause trouble, you only need to look at this thread.
I am actually starting to think that there is something wrong with your head, you really are strange!
It's funny how these words get out of hand sitting behind a keyboard, wonder if it would be the same if face to face!!!

Such a troll, its taken me some restraint but I - and would encourage other to do the same - must refrain from responding to these strange people. I could put the reciept up for the RTABs (all £150!) work but that plays into these peoples hands.
If we do respond to these strange people this whole porsche forum will degenerate into one big mess and genuine porsche enthusiast will simply move to a different forum.
Lets not have this happen and MODs some help along these lines to stop slanderous post like that made across this topic and a few others would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Here's a few posts I made on the M3 forum where I flagged my car was for sale - I went across both porsche and M3 forum (the latter being where the great people helped)
But I appreciate you don't have the time to dig out the facts, so here you go.
Thread #1: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Thread #2: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
This is the last I saw on the matter - as I just don't want to waste my energy. If someone wants me to post the RTAB inspection report from a leading BMW independent specialist then let me know (trolls excluded) and this will also be available to view and you are more than welcome to call the specialist to discuss.

.....and relax.....so back on topic. PH 76 that car you are looking at looks quite a bit over priced, i personally think the proper gt3 alloys look better but that is personal preference. As someone else stated the car you are looking at looks a bit like a tarted up old car. Anyway this is all just a personal observation and having previously owned a 996 c2 with gt3 kit i would be a bit biased I would advise looking at something with a sports exhaust as it really does make a gorgeous sound and the sports chassis lets the car sit a little lower and the wheels fill their arches a bit better visually.

Was looking to spend M3 + £5k if possible as a maximum.
Just realised where I got my M3 from the guy is also selling a black 911 and he's comfirmed he would take my M3 back for the money I purchased it for. The only thing is it has the savannah interior and I really want black so may give it a miss.

I agree, you can do better so you are not losing out. Take the time to flog the em-tree on Autotrader and then find something. Henry has a 1998R 996C2 with 73K miles for £21k. It really needs £300 spending to get rid of the weird parking sensors though.Regards
WN
Edit: Compared to Henry's car that black one is so over-priced come resale time you would be royally fxcked.
