Croft Track Day
Discussion
I'll be there in the race car. Primary purpose is to check ABS problem is sorted (being done tomorrow) but may also put passenger seat in (no idea if one's been in before and whether there's harness mounting points though - car not here to check) so may take passengers later on.
I may also be available for instruction

Sorry I can't make it. The boys in Malton have just done my brakes, annual service and put on a REVO trial on my 996 Targa - see post. Impressed. Drive back from Malton to Stamford was exciting, especially as I'd been in Ben's 1.4 Astra all day!
Have a good one and hope to be there next time.
JWB - is it true that Aston bought one of your CGT's to have a look at it or was Mick pulling my leg.
Cheers
Scott.

You'd have thought they'd have bought one sooner but good sale for you. Well done.
See you in a couple of days when my Revo runs out! I'd love one of your 996tt's but the Revo caused enough of a fuss - on reflection I should have just proclaimed a big service rather than fessing up to the upgrade. Wife unimpressed and likely to cost me the same again in appeasement.
Ask Mark if he's recovered from the trade plate hitting him at pace midrift as we booted it in 2nd in the blue 996TT. Occupational hazzard apparently!.
Cheers

Well, we did some work to the car today so I can use it on Thursday (no time to fit pass. seat though). However, it's still not been washed since racing at Oulton, nor has the rear bumper been re-aligned, so it'll look quite scruffy but should go OK I hope;)
What hurt was stopping at the Shell garage and spending over £160 on V-power!!

??? My 92 litre tank doesn't cost that much to fill! Try:
1) Turning engine off during filling
2) Get more down the filler neck instead of over your shoes
3) Avoid motorway services for V-Power - doh
Still - consolation in toy Ferrari cars!
