Well this is about the 3rd time we've threatened to buy a Cayman but this time looks like we're going throw with our wishes,

I've owned Elise's as our main sports car now for nearly 6 years, I have an Itch that needs to be scratched. Our current steed (Elise SC) will be sold at some point and will be replaced by a Cayman S, I'll then be able to purchase an early Elise S1 for track days and onto racing in the Lotus Trophy

I Wish now that Mrs Boggy had said this would be Ok before I brought our current Elise SC but such is life.

Just waiting to see what happens with my Job over the next few months, but hopefully before the end of the year.

Or if anyone wants a swap with an 08 Elise SC for an 07 Cayman S please feel free to drop me a Mail

Jump! Jummp! biggrin

Just passed one year of ownership and it's a joy in so many ways, love it and plan to keep it (unless they bring on a Clubsport that is :-)

Cheer's Dave,

To be honest I shouldn't have brought the Elise SC really, Mrs Boggy just didn't want me to go racing after the accident we had but now she's happy with me doing track days racing is just the next natural step

I'm really warming to the idea of owning a Cayman to, drove the Evora and it's a fantastic car better than anything else I've driven but the price

It's just far to expensive for us, I can buy a Gayman S and my Track Slag for 20k less than that

Brilliant news,

Welcome to the fold.. Nice colour, looks like its in good nick too. You will really enjoy it.

Its very tuneable too - and suprisingly cost effective

Enjoy

Thanks Guys,

I'm really happy and Mrs Boggy is over the moon,

Won't be leaving Lotus completely as I want to buy a S1 Elise for track's day and then to Race, I really liked the Lotus Evora but I could have brought a 2 11 and a Cayman for that money and we just can't justify what with what's going on with the market, I'm looking to own this steed for another 3 year's then who knows

Really liked the spec and colour, Castle's (Ben) worked hard on the deal and we both came out happy, I'm very sad to see Glacier (Lotus SC) go but as I said if Mrs Boggy doesn't enjoy driving it (being driven in it) then that's the end for any car, the Crash we had in December really upset us both and I think that was the beginning of the end for us with a Elise on the road, were over the moon with our new purchase thou, can't believe we now own a Porsche

Congratulations.

When you pick it up, did you know you should turn RIGHT out of Castle and go up the hill? Great if on occasion bumpy road to Thaxted.

I know, there's some great scenery and road's around that neck of the woods

I'm on a tight time schedule on Saturday which is a little bit of a pain, not going to get much time to enjoy the Car

Hi All,

Just thought I'd attach a few photo's of our new Car, picked it up last Saturday from Castle Sports Cars. Feels like a bigger version of an Exige but obviously better built What a Machine!
