I think this meet (if its the last of the year) is going to be the best.

Cant wait.

Bring co-drivers for taking photos!

s_mcneil I was actually reading that half the residents in the carnival area actually go away for the bank holiday weekend!
Yup, and you have to park outside the 'zone'. Last year I came back to the car and found someone had had a Jerk chicken picnic on the bonnet!

I would have really been up for this meet but a last minute Ring trip came up...

O/T but anyone got any static pics of the silver Boxster with what look to be anthracite rims. It would make sense if it is an anniversary - I'm looking to refurb my rims to the same sort of finish and if it's not an anniversary but has been refurbed I'd appreciate any pics that are around.

Right I've f'd this up a bit. I'm actually at my sisters wedding on the Friday before, up north, and will be driving back on the Sunday (perhaps with the misses who'll be pissed off as she really doesn't understand how loud the RSR is and she'll need to wear ear plugs, which wont match her underwear or something equally stupid). So any chance of the exact route?

Jeeez, this is going to be interesting on the drive out. What are the odds on some tool phoning the old bill when they see us on the motorway?

I dont think we will have any issues, there are too many of us and we dont drive recklessly, I dont think their is a law against accelerating to 70mph!

I think you're probably right, just seemed a big coincidence what happened on the M40 on the last one I attended!

Agree with the reckless driving thing, it's not us lot I worry about, it's the twunts who seem to want to race or pull out at the last minute when they see us coming.

Did you see in the other thread that I thought I saw you on the Edgware Road a couple of Wednesdays ago? Can't be many Caymans in that colour scheme, looked very clean!

On the way back there were some Police cars on the hard shoulder. I don't think it had anything to do with us, we have been lucky in the last six meets that all attendees have driven safely and respected other roads users! I have wanted from the very start for these to be a social event, gathering like minded people doing what we enjoy and free from any commercial interest!!!!

The biggest issue (for me) is ensuring that no one gets lost which can be difficult in a large group.

Glad to see a interesting mix of Pork coming both old and new, not long to go chapsdriving

I didnt see that thread no - where is it?

Just looked at my diary - the 12th (wednesday) I took the Cayman in to work and I was around the Edgware Road area - must have been me!

Were you in the GT2?
