Was it the same location on the Mk.2 CS? M3ni mentioned his was located internally.
don't know on the mk2 CS. There is no 'internal' cut off inside the cabin, just under the bonnet - you locate it outside the bonnet when racing so it can be easily pulled - inside the cabin wouldnt make any sense.I've put a gallery up of some recent photos of the car. I'll put an add up later, I think it's fair to ask top money for it and let the market decide if they value it as much as I do, it will not be a hardship to hold onto it just seems a shame to have it in storage with money tied up in it so I can't get another in the US, question is can I live with the US spec rear bumper over-riders!
Just so there is no confusion the car is an 02 model year as it will be hard to tell from the photos, it's not an 04 mk 2 version.

Good luck. Looks fab.
Question...the Recaro badged protector you have on the seat bolster. Where did you get them?
Had leather off-cuts draped over the bolsters as they are prone to wear and jean rivets etc, but then saw these in the US. They attach via velcro under the seat cushion and via the seatbelt cut out.Question...the Recaro badged protector you have on the seat bolster. Where did you get them?
They are available in the US via recaro distributors, never could find them in Europe.

Thanks, I'll have a google.

Advert live, let the fun begin. Yes it's priced high, I know but nothing available to compare it with on the market, and I've checked to see what a couple of cars have sold for off book and believe this is right.
And don't start talking about 996 GT3 RS prices or 993 turbo's, otherwise everyone will be along saying this is too cheap!

Right price, possibly a bit on the light side given the A1 condition of the car, its even cleaner than mine and I consider mine clean so yours will make a lovely addition to someones stable.Just so there is no confusion the car is an 02 model year as it will be hard to tell from the photos, it's not an 04 mk 2 version.

Any reason it didn't sell a few mths back at this price? Looks nice. Gt2s do seem relatively cheap compared to what's going on with other porsche prices.
I had a couple of people interested but didn't get any offers close enough to asking price. It's a low mileage car in exceptional condition that will appeal to a certain buyer. If it sells it will be hugely missed by me unless I can find one in the US in the same condition. Edited by unclepezza on Saturday 26th July 17:09

Under priced but won't command 964 RS prices IMO in years to come
I nearly bought an Arctic Silver one recently at trade low miles 2 owner car that had history albeit not registered and didn't bother in the end. The dealer couldn't shift it at £32k.
Still early days Ed, give them another 5 (and preferably 10) years and we'll look back at the examples we bought and sold, with tears in our eyes. It's a numbers game, pure and simple. Not many too start of with in the UK, plenty written off, lots damaged and badly repaired (not that we're allowed to discuss such things on here these days apparently) I nearly bought an Arctic Silver one recently at trade low miles 2 owner car that had history albeit not registered and didn't bother in the end. A surefire classic in the making. I WILL have another one.

It's a great car but the market will set the price, and unfortunately I don't believe it will achieve the price being asked at the moment.Edited by unclepezza on Saturday 26th July 17:09
Best of luck though. As said, a great car.

Agree that market will decide also, 997GT2's at £135k make the 996 GT2 look a complete bargain! As I've said it's no hardship if it doesn't go as it will be very hard to find one as good.Best of luck though. As said, a great car.
