Less than two years ago I missed out on a nice example of a 6RS at £47K. At the time there were a few others available within £10K more. What are those cars today, £100K plus? The 6GT2 hasn't kept pace so perhaps it's where it should be? If not, logically just a matter of time.

don't know on the mk2 CS. There is no 'internal' cut off inside the cabin, just under the bonnet - you locate it outside the bonnet when racing so it can be easily pulled - inside the cabin wouldnt make any sense.

Will post some pics shortly as away from the car at the mo, but I have a red kill switch button just in front of the gear stick. Even I am intrigued now...

The kit I saw for the cut-off included a red square button/switch for fitting within the cabin as well as the cut-off close to the battery.

edit...a pic

997GT2's at £135k make the 996 GT2 look a complete bargain!
It says sold on the Malton website for the 135k 997 club sport, anyone know what it went for?

I think you'll find it was neither ragged or raced, it was actually "rallied" smile

997 GT2's were selling at circa £100k-£110k at christmas from memory, but again not many were coming onto the market. Looks as if they have gone up also.

Pretty sure that Gumball car is up in Scotland now, I got talking to the owner at Knockhill last year. Can`t remember his name but he also has a RUF flatnose.

Didn't 911V retail the gumball GT2 several years back, recall a great thread on here about it. Perhaps it's still in the archives at PH Towers.

Watching that video always brings a smile to my face, it's an experience you don't forget flooring a GT2 when you have a chance in high gears, it just picks up and whoosh time for another gear. :-)

I'll certainly be holding on to my mint 997 GT2, there's really actually nothing I can think to replace it with, nice trip to work in it today! Always brings a smile even on a simple journey, just feels like such a occasion every time I get in it!

Going to OPC for service in next week or 3 and replacing fronts with new Cup 2's, rears only replaced 1500 miles ago so not going to be a particularly cheap month!

A friend and customer of mine owns it now, he wasn't fully aware who Lonman is when he bought it (not from us), he loves the history now he knows.
