My 997 GT2 will be staying firmly put on UK soil for a very long time, if I got shut of it I'd always regret it and would never be able to get hold of another, prices are just putting them out of reach, soooo glad I bought at the right time!
Apart from the few LHD RS versions there seems to be even less non RS versions ever up for sale, last one at SCOM, and even fewer straight ones.

Just another reminder If anyone wants to sell a rear set of Pccb brake system, I'm willing to do anything to get my hands on them, well almost anything. I have a good set of disks so if yours are shot to
pieces, it does not matter as its the bells that I need.
Cash waiting.

Popped into JZM on Saturday, has the GT3 market lost there minds or was I seeing a telephone number being displayed. I really don't understand this crazy
at present, I simply cannot get my head around the fact that a 993 Turbo or even an S is more valuable than a GT2.
I think the cars had such a bad wrap when they first came out, the whole Widow Maker title makes people think that your dead on the first corner. I had an absolute blast
in mine on Saturday, blasting through bends "clear road ahead " and the car just sticks. CG did set the car up for this but I could not imagine a GT3 996 being that much
more fun, not to mention the straight line madness.

Was browsing the American forums and stumbled across a blue gt2. I'm not sure on the colour myself but thought I'd share.
I'm pretty sure that Jerry Seinfeld's ex-car. The colour is PTS. I have several pictures of it from when it was for sale few years ago if anyone wants to see.Below are window sticker and first registration documents.
Bit of an odd market for the GT2 at the moment. No "proper" cars around. As far as I'm aware, two of the three cars on the market have history (BHP and Aspect), and the third is the Malton "RS" which seems cheap at £49,995 but with non OE wheels and wing. Probably worth taking it back to standard and adding £10K to the price?

Only problem with that is they are not 60k cars..I was very close to buying it a few months back.
Engine is far from standard but it took them a while to disclose that and the sales guy couldn't even tell me exactly what was what, then you have the 10k custom audio build that also wasn't disclosed until the very last minute.
Probably not a bad car though if you don't mind the modifications.
I don't really mind any of it, a better sales person would've sold it to me over the phone.

(from a 'Porsche & 911' magazine feature)
Funnily enough, I see they've still haven't sold the RUF flatnose also featured in that article.
