Very, very nice .... but then I would think so
Question on brake pads. I've recently changed to JZM/Alcon bells/discs. I've got Porsche pads fitted which feel lacking in bite. Any recommendation on pads?
Sorry can't help on the disc/pad combo as I'm still on original PCCB set up. Question on brake pads. I've recently changed to JZM/Alcon bells/discs. I've got Porsche pads fitted which feel lacking in bite. Any recommendation on pads?
Consul might be able to help, as I think he has tried different set ups.

Yep, it's a quick car, very similar to mine in terms of performance. He loved it but it had to go I guess. He likes the Datsun but knows in his heart it's a girls car. Seeing him tomorrow so will remind him of what he's lost :-)
Say hello from me and also remind him about the spare key! I'm really pleased I did the carbon bits. I think they've made a subtle improvement to the look.

I had this set up on a 997 GT2 with the endless mx72 pads / Alcon rotors. The stopping power was excellent and the brakes were always consistent. Eventually ditched the set up due to the weight of the rotors affecting the handling and performance of the car. Hope this helps..
996 GT2's are awesome pieces of kit, I cannot believe you can get one for the price of a 964RS replica - it's bonkers. The fact that 993 Turbo's are achieving twice the price of a good GT2 is even more of a piss take. Don't get me wrong, nice cars but inferior in every sense. GT2's tick every box - Fast, handle nicely, look beautiful, sold in low numbers, manual, no silly electronics, bullet proof engine and transmission and to top it off screwed together by Porsche Motorsport. Oh and an iconic engine cover badge consisting of two letters and one number. I like mine so much I've just bought another one....
