Bilt Hamber dynax keeps that salt off plus an underbody lance for your jet wash.

Roads were very quiet on the run down to Goowood on Sunday, plus it was -4.5 so nice cold air for the blowers!

Always a blast 3 GT2's in convoy.

Slow into the corner and smooth out with these things, even in the dry ! I don't mind it going sideways in a straight line under boost
but not round a bend.

I have never driven a car were you read every inch of the road so much, the road on Sunday with the frost made things interesting, especially with
two other GT2s behind you. Everyone has a story to tell about someone they know who wrapped it on the way to Goodwood so I was determined its
not going to be me !

Frost ! ! ! ! Ya big bunch of woosies biggrin Try the Evo Triangle at -4 and snowy. It felt ballistically quick running in those temps eek

Another car I was fortunate enough to have owned when they were cheap (relatively) and plentiful (likewise).
The thought of owning one to polish rather than thrash the nuts off, is rather upsetting (mind you, that's exactly what's happened to my 964 RS) so perhaps I'd best getmecoatsmile

Needed a shell really JE, but the stuff they can do with those jigs these days. Just amazing yikes

Evening Jason, hope you're well ? GT2's don't do "old age", they expect to be thrashed to within an inch of their life until they're sold or terminated. smile Besides which, I thought everyone knew, the harder you spank them, the more they like it winkbiggrin

Hi Slippysmile

I just read your big off in a GT2 driven by an idiot by the sounds of it, you were lucky my friend !

I always leave a safety margin, its bit me a couple of times which I've managed to stay focused and pedal it but not to be repeated. Ive got a day booked at Chobham next year
with an instructor as its such a learning curve with these cars, the limits could not and should not be reached on public roads, there fantastic cars and I truly love it but in the back of my
mind every time I take it out or drive in a group, Im always aware that a lack of respect behind the wheel could end my life period and knowing this is what I think has preserved me and the car
so well but still having fun within my limits and not the cars. Ill leave the spanking for the track were there are no trees smile)

Evening J. I can see JFP and I will have to arrange a N.Wales thrash for you GT2 Southerners. We'll sort out a decent route featuring some cracking roads, some may even have trees next to them ! ! eek

All cars attending will be checked prior to commencement of the run for clay bars, clay bar lube, wax, polish, sealant, microfibres, wheel brushes and detailing spray and tyre dressing. Attendees found with any of the above will be barred laugh

Laughhhhhhhhhh !!!!! smile)))
Slippy your so right I should be thrashing it but after the years of ownership, I still cannot believe I own it despite being able to buy something more exotic, its just priceless to me hence
thats why its so looked after. If they were so readily available as they were a few years ago, I probably would drive it like I stole it but thats not the case anymore.

Ive seen your driving on the net, and i would not even attempt to keep up, but KAL...now theres your man ! The man can drive.

smile That was taken back in back in 2007. I did 20k miles in the car (taking it from 12k to 32k in just over 2 years) I think Jason's stuck a few miles on it since then too.

Ive put 15k on it in 4 years so Im now at 55k and boy does it feel better for it. The motor had an £8k freshen complements of 911V so along with the new suspension and set up, its practically
almost like a Brand new car when you see it in the flesh despite the mileage. Looking forward to seeing the next 55k smile

Is it sad wanting a GT2 so much to go with the turbo? I keep looking at what car could possibly be the next step at a later date (only had the turbo 9 months!), but nothing this side of 80k really gets me going? Driven a mates 360 with flappy paddles & have to say I'm not impressed at all, sounds great but pretty wooly chassis & awful awful gearbox, and also driven a mates R8 V10, which is stunning, but I still think I would buy a GT2 first!

Just hope I can save up in time before they go stupid!

Apologies for the thread hijack, but how did you manage to book a trackday at Chobham? I was under the impression this was an 'experience only' track, ie you hire their cars with an instructor alongside.
