For some reason the Jessica Wabbit car wasn't listed as a cat car but at the time the owner advised on PH that the damage was extensive and the insurance company had settled with her. The reg plate contained the letters GOB at one time.
It wasn't written off due to the damage incurred (which tells you the damage wasn't actually that bad) As I understand it, it was a total loss due to the loan car charges accrued due to various parts not being in stock at Stuttgart. The then owner wanted a like for like loan car (a 997 Turbo I believe) the cost of which ensured the GT2 was written off.A picture before it was pranged (it was a nice, tidy car, though the interior was a tad basic and the Comfort seats hopeless) Not a fan of the "X50" option tailpipes either personally.
I light bump by 996 GT2 standards, it wasn't what I'd call a "proper job".

Laugh ! It's not funny but that poor dealer trying to sell that car must be cursing us .
At least whoever buys the car knows what there getting. The truth is, if it's been repaired
Correctly, it should be fine. If your not buying the car as an investment but purely just to get behind the
Wheel of one, I would go for it as its still not going to depreciate like an R8 for example ?

Not all the panels were replaced they were pulled and then filled, but you don't have to know "your stuff" to see this on inspection........

Merry Christmas gentlemen!
Was going to wait until the GT4 spec was released in early Feb but arrived home from the office on Tuesday evening feeling unsettled, so placed the ad! As much as I love the GT2 I also enjoy trying/buying different cars and the urge is strong at the moment - induced by a mate/colleague announcing that he'd been a jammy tw@t (say hello Glyn!), and been successful in securing a brand new GT3 after placing an order with Cardiff OPC in July/August this year. He'd picked up the car end of November and kept it quiet Then on the same evening another mate put a deposit on a GTR and collected yesterday - what can I say, I miss the hunt!
If I do sell the GT2 I know deep down it'll be a mistake - probably won't be able to afford one in a few years time! Anyway, early days, might just go for a Christmas morning blast and change my mind

After driving a GT2 that was stock I can only say I was underwhelmed! It was certainly no faster in a straight line than a 996T with a map and if you call character and driving experience as being worried about when it would try and kill you if you put your foot down then I suppose it had that, looks wise yes its better but aside from that and value that may rise why on earth pay more for less?

Straight line isnt really the be-all of the GT range though. And if you are talking mapped vs standard, of cource all bets are off.Remap a GT2 and get back to us
Turbo wouldnt see where it went.
