Here is my GT2 at Castle Coombe last Autumn with Mike Wilds demonstrating how it should be done! Might be my large arse that made the wheel lift though!
Getting it back from JZM next week as been there to have new KW / Uniball suspension, Alcon CCX carbon brakes, sequential gear shifter, Cup steering wheel, BBS Cup alloys and slicks. Should be able to use the full power now from the M600 Manthey engine conversion that previous owner had carried out. Silverstone 1st Feb if anyone is playing. Nearly 30 track days booked already. Game on!

Apart from my general dislike of the unfortunate 996 front end I've always thought the wide bodied 996s look uncomfortable around the rear arch and this one (despite being an interesting example and thanks for sharing BTW) looks particularly odd and ungainly
The only problem with that angle is the wheels could be a bit wider, or a spacer added, just for the wheel to sit in the arch better. But otherwise, the 996 GT2 is the best looking 911 ever.
