A guy who viewed my GT3 went to see this car and said it was rough around the edges, it was early 40's last year.
A bit of roughness around the edges I could live/deal with, it's the caramel interior I'd really struggle with Ed !
Good justification to convert it to a club sport!
Henry if you remember mate it was for sale for ages, I considered it when the GT3 went, as it was priced correctly, but apparently it has had a lot of paint which in itself isn't an issue IMO but there was a lot of masking marks etc.
Obviously been done on the cheap, at the time it was advertised "as part of a collection"

The presentation of the car was stunning. Showed my wife a pic of the car and her reaction was exactly the same when
I bought the 355, ie with that color do I need to get in it. I love the color and the mileage did not put me off, I tend to get more
Concerned with low mile garage queens.
Im going to give Tom an answer on Friday, I need to find storage once the Hot Rod is finished. Bloody cars ! Awful addiction smile

Have you driven it yet? Zanzibar GT3?

That must form the biggest factor for buying it, I'm sure it's a great car but would be interested in what you think it's like in the road compared to the GT2.

I recall you weren't really that positive on the GT3RS 997 you drove sometime back?

I'm going to try and arrange a drive, I will go with a complelty different expectation level as the 997 Rs both models
That I drove felt like the torque went on Holiday, sounded great but more track orientated Rev wise so that was my
reason to stay put.

It was silly of me to compare the two so I'm treating the GT3 with a different approach. I'm actually not sure what I want at the moment, air cooled or Water. I struggle around this time of year with the weather and not really being able to drive as I'm not one for Salt, "Slating Coming right up"

Could not take it anymore so I went for a drive, found some lovely roads close to Hove, could not really open the car up due
to the roads being a bit slippery, it's probably me but the car even driving off boost felt strong. The car still gave me the confidence to hustle it in the damp with water running of farmland. It's was a lesson in Boost managementsmile Flipping excellent day !!!!!

Some claim the prices are on the rise. Don't know whether that's good or bad to be honest. The more expensive they get the less we'll be able to drive them Wiessach intended. smile

Interesting. According to that chart there are no Hollow Turbo wheels in 12". Is that correct?
Also the weight difference between Mk1 and Mk2 in 8.5" is only 0.45Kg.
