And I forgot to mention a while back. Whilst having the suspension replaced at CG, Chris discovered one the rear spring cups had almost failed through alloy corrosion. If you haven't, might be worth getting them checked.
That's with only 30k miles. Hidden away and you can only really see them when you change the springs.

Thats sounds interesting ! I was thinking of doing a blast to Gstaad as the mountain roads must be epic ! Stay in a decent hotel and head back. Wales sounds cool. We need to arrange a driving trip as I find that the fun is in the drive to an event and not when you get there.
I take it you've not driven on the Welsh roads before then Jason ? That car practically knows it's own way around the best Welsh roads ......
First drive in 5 weeks yesterday. Been driving the Cayman R a lot in that time, the GT2 really is in a different league, love the Cayman R but this is just operating on a totally different level, makes the Cayman feel flimsy when driven back to back.
Had to charge it up a bit before I drove it though, it's not enjoying this standing around for weeks without being driven, need to buy a battery conditioner for it.

Ctek battery charger is a really good investment.
I leave my car at my parents as I don't have a garage at the moment, and when I get the car I put it on overnight and it's fully charged by morning.
I've been using it like this for two years without issue. Car has just had opc service where they said battery was fine. The only reason I don't have it on all the time is my dad has a collection of classics and he gets worried about leaving electric on all the time.
